Ulysses in the 31st Century
With the Greek legend of the Odyssey as a basis, this series transforms Ulysses into a futuristic space hero traveling throughout the galactic universe of the Olympus on a quest to get back home to Earth. The near invincible gods, such as Cyclops, Poseidon, and Antiphates the Great, resent this presumptuous human being who dares to defy their extraordinary powers in the universe over which they reign. And they do their best to eliminate Ulysses and the crew of his spacecraft, Odysseus. The crew includes: Telemachus, Ulysses' son, whose courage and recklessness often lead him into trouble; Yumi, a young telepathic female alien; and Nono, Telemachus' malfunctioning toy robot. Ulysses, along with his crew, has many adventures as he battles the gods on his journey back to the Earth of his ancestors.
